• Steven Greene, Jr. • Series: Reality Check
This is a throwback to Philippians 1:27, where Paul opens the epistle by expressing his desire to hear that the Philippians are “standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” The idea is to be immovable in their faith and service of the Lord, particularly in contrast to the highly volatile world in which we live. The passage is outlined for us. To demonstrate standing firm in the Lord, Paul adds a series of instructions in rapid form. Each one describes how Christians can be immovable in their faith in the midst of a volatile world.
